Scrap Gold Recovery: Recycling, Fabrication and Electrochemical Characterization of Low-Cost Gold Electrode

چکیده

As a noble metal, gold is considered the most popular material in electrocatalysis. In spite of that, this metal highly expensive manufacture low-cost appliances. present work, scrap gold, produced jewellery as waste, introduced resource to be recycled. A electrode was fabricated by connecting tablet shaped recycled with copper wire inserting into polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) tube. The manufactured electrodes are easily renewable, modifiable nanomaterials and show excellent electrochemical characteristics presence redox species. CV (cyclic voltammetry), DPV (differential pulse EIS (electrochemical impedance spectroscopic) analysis data also infer that developed gold-based would suitable for development electrocatalytic sensors devices.
